New Resource: Making Sense of Federal Reserve Module

This module encourages high school students to explore one of the most complext but effective institutions in the United States—the Federal Reserve System. Using a mix of engaging videos, readings, and knowledge checks, students, this module takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.

The module will describe the story of the creation of the Fed over 100 years ago, define how monetary policy helps achieve the dual mandate of maximum employment and price stability set forth by Congress, and how it regulates banks and protects consumers.

Teachers can easily add the module to most learning management systems like Canvas and Google Classroom that also contains a self-grading assessment after students complete the work.
