Understanding Cognitive Biases

OVERVIEW
Students participate in a series of behavioral economics experiments to understand the anchoring effect, the conjunction fallacy, and the relativity trap. Then, students have a discussion of how cognitive biases affect personal finance decisions.  This lesson plan is part of the Keys to Financial Success curriculum and contains a step-by-step procedure for instructors to follow, copies of all handouts and visuals, and a student assessment.
