Teach credit cards, debit cards, and car loans with the “Cards, Cars, and Currency” curriculum unit. These lessons challenge students to become involved in three specific areas of personal finance: credit cards, debit cards and purchasing a car. The activities address problem-solving, critical-thinking and higher levels of learning, using real-world scenarios.
Students learn about the importance of financial literacy by playing a game which tests their understanding of credit cards, debit cards and purchasing a car. This game serves as a pretest for subsequent lessons in this curriculum

They complete a series of assignments by evaluating each choice by three criteria--- the income test, the down-payment option and the time option—to learn how to make an informed decision.
