New Reading Resource: What Is the Balance of Payments?

Page One Balance of Payments News Thumbnail

The balance of payments is a summary of all the financial transactions between two countries and can account for much more than just the exchange of goods and services through trade.  This reading easily identifies when other financial transactions are made how that affects a nation’s economy.  In approximately 30 minutes of reading time, students also are introduced to how the current and capital accounts help organize these transactions by analyzing the flow of money in or out of a country.
