Get ready for the upcoming school year with this new interactive module about debit cards from Federal Reserve Education. Students will learn how debit cards differ from credit cards, how overdraft services and fees work, and how to avoid common banking mistakes. They will follow Andrea’s story, in which many personal finance concepts are introduced in a way students can relate to. The module contains a wide variety of audio, interactives, and knowledge check prompts to keep students engaged.
This resource is designed for high school students to complete in approximately 30 minutes and comes with a self-grading multiple-choice assessment that can be easily added to major learning management systems such as Canvas, Google Classroom, Schoology, Blackboard, and D2L Brightspace. Our tutorial page can help you get started.
