Federal Reserve Education is excited to introduce “Ample Reserves for AP,” a new six-hour professional development course designed specifically for AP Macroeconomics teachers.

In recent years, the Federal Reserve has implemented monetary policy in an environment where reserves in the banking system are ample rather than scarce. The course walks teachers through this updated model, explains why it matters, and provides strategies for incorporating it into classroom instruction aligned with AP Macroeconomics content.

Featuring targeted lessons, readings, and interactive activities, the course equips teachers with fresh, classroom-ready tools to help students grasp the Federal Reserve’s current operating framework.

This new offering reflects Federal Reserve Education’s commitment to delivering high-quality, relevant resources that strengthen economics instruction nationwide.
