Federal Reserve Education Celebrates 10,000 User Accounts

In July 2025, the redesigned federalreserveeducation.org added the option to create teacher accounts.  With an FRE account, educators can organize educational resources and choose their favorites, access answer keys, and add assignments to popular learning management systems such as Canvas, Google Classroom, and Schoology. Additionally, users can access our glossary containing more than 800 economic and personal finance terms, attend in-person and virtual events, enroll in asynchronous professional development (PD) courses, and earn micro credential badges. We're proud to announce that, since summer 2025, 10,000 users have created an account with Federal Reserve Education.

In its first year, FRE has also

• published 150 new educational resources, including lesson plans, curriculum units, videos, readings, and interactive modules;
• promoted 143 events held across the Federal Reserve System;
• introduced the capability of adding assignments to Blackboard and D2L Brightspace learning management systems; and
• issued 620 certificates to educators who have completed professional development courses.

“We are extremely proud of how we can assist teachers in bringing economics and personal finance concepts to students and are extremely grateful to our users for trusting us to provide high quality content for their classes,” said Scott Wolla, Assistant Vice President for Economic Education at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

Teachers are welcome to sign up for an account at any time. To get started, click on the registration button below.
