Driving Forces in the Economy: Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses

Teachers will dive into the heart of downtown Murfreesboro, Tennessee, discovering how entrepreneurs and small businesses power local economies through firsthand stories from a pastry chef, restaurant owner, and the director of Main Street Murfreesboro. This workshop will then transform those real-world insights into dynamic, classroom-ready lessons.

This in-person workshop will be held at the MTSU Miller Education Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and is a partnership between Atlanta Fed Economic Education and the MTSU Center for Financial Literacy.
